CRIPPS BARN WEDDING | JESSICA + LEE

BEAUTIFUL WEDDING IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

The day began at “The Swan Hotel”, in Bibury where the Bride was getting ready for the big day. When I arrived I saw what I love so so much: a lot of emotion and nerves form the Bride, her mother and all the family and members who were with her helping with everything.

One moment that I clearly remember was when Jessica and her mother were in the bathroom of the hotel’s room preparing the wedding flowers. particularly when they showed me a small keepsake with the photo of the bride’s father who sadly passed away. They decided to attach the keepsake to the wedding bouquet and it was truly beautiful seeing how Jessica and her mother placed the keepsake together and then ended up both lost between their arms in an emotional hug.

When they were all ready and after seeing Jessica with the dress on and the predictable tear or two we headed to the venue, Cripps Barn in Gloucestershire where I found the groom Lee quite nervous 😅.

After an emotional but very fun ceremony, tasty food and four amazing speeches we went for some photos in the beautiful countryside which surround the venue. As you can see below these are one of my favourites ever. So so in love with the colour of the wildflowers and so much love between Jessica and Lee.

HOW DID THEY MEET? SOME WORD FROM THE COUPLE…

Lee and I met through online dating. We had been speaking and texting for a number of weeks before we went on our first date. We went to Wagamamas for dinner then a coffee afterwards. I was not impressed with Lee's moustache that he was growing for Movember (In December 🤣) and I often joke how it looked like a Wotsit stuck on above his lip! Lee was very nervous and did not talk much- often popping off to have a nervous wee! Luckily for Lee, his texting skills were better than his verbal communication skills and the promise that he would shave off the Wotsit secured him a second date!

Following the first date I thought Lee and I were heading towards nothing more than a friendship, but to this day Lee says the date went well and that's why we are getting married! Haha.

I had such an amazing day with Jessica and Lee and their family members and friends. Please, have a look at all the pictures below which are a selection of my favourites from the day and also you can see the wedding slideshow at the end of the post. Hope you love them!

Thank you very much to Jessica and Lee for letting me be part of such a special day.

Love,

Manu xx
